Direct patient care is a membership model in which insurance companies are no longer able to insert themselves between healthcare provider and patient. Our clients are charged a monthly membership fee and when they have a medical need such as annual visits or urgent medical needs, there is no additional charge for those visits. 

Concierge medicine usually has a higher price tag than direct patient care, anywhere from $3,000 - $10,000 per person per year. In fact, many concierge practices do not list their fees on their websites. Concierge providers often have very aesthetically-pleasing offices. One similarity between the two is the direct accessibility between patient and physician. 

Insurance these days almost always means "high deductible." People who have this type of insurance still find themselves exposed to outrageous expenditures when they unexpectedly get sick. Our program can minimize the impact the more common illnesses and injuries have on your financial well being. 

We do not require our clients to have insurance to be seen. That is the beauty of the direct patient care model. But, insurance is still important. Our services do not cover any issues beyond what we can provide in our office. It is a good idea to have insurance of some type to cover the unforeseen catastrophic issues that may arise.

We do not stock any vaccinations. We recommend that our patients get those through the health department. We do not run labs in house, but we have discounted fees through Lab Corp. We also do not do any xrays in our office, but will help you find imaging centers that can offer cash discounts, if you need.
